  • I want to register for a CCT class but will need to miss a class or two. Is that Ok?
    We strongly recommend that students attend all classes. If you plan on missing more than one class, it is advised to wait and register for a course at a time when you’ll likely be able to attend all sessions. If you’ve already registered and know you will miss a class in advance, please contact the instructor.
  • How much meditation experience is required to participate in the CCT program?
    No previous meditation experience is required, although willingness to practice daily meditation is a key component of the training.
  • If I register and attend the first class and then decide that this course is not for me – can I get my money back?
    Yes. Full refunds minus processing fee ($20) will be issued if we receive your cancellation request any time before the course starts and also after the first class – as long as the facilitator is notified at least 2 days before the second class of the course.
  • Why would I want to take this compassion training?
    Compassion training extends beyond helping one feel more empathy and concern for others. It includes the development of: the resilience to prevent compassion fatigue, the strength to be present with suffering, and the courage to take compassionate action.These qualities support a wide range of goals — from improving personal and work relationships to making a positive difference in the world.Compassion training can also support one’s own health, happiness, and wellbeing. Preliminary research suggests that the CCT course and similar programs can increase self-compassion and self-care, reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, and enhance connection with others.
